In late May 2016, CHAM conducted a "training of trainers". 18 healthcare professionals from all of Malawi's regions came to Mponela, Dowa district to be trained to train others in youth-friendly health services delivery.

In mid-February 2016, severe rains caused the roof of Chiwe Health Centre to cave in, causing the facility staff to operate health services out of a small guard shelter. CHAM Secretariat staff visited Chiwe to review the damage and determine next steps to have it repaired.
