CHAM has standard operating procedures for recruitment, applications and admission to our training colleges. Each college reviews applications independently with a holistic process.
Admissions examine academic performance and test scores alongside interviews and essays. We look for candidates who are academically strong and whose values, personality, and career goals are a good fit for their chosen college and study path.
CHAM training colleges embrace human rights, diversity and inclusivity. We welcome applicants from diverse social and educational backgrounds, including those from schools and rural villages with fewer college opportunities.
People of all backgrounds, faiths, creeds and identities are welcome to apply. Admission is subject to available places, and competition is often high.
Graduates of CHAM training colleges are deployed at CHAM and Malawi government facilities at rates of 40% and 60%, respectively.
For questions about a specific college, reach out directly to the relevant training institution using the contact details provided by that college.
CHAM does not use agents or middlemen for student recruitment. Prospective students and guardians should not deal with anyone claiming to act on behalf of CHAM or our colleges.
You do not need to pay anyone to be admitted into CHAM colleges. The only fee required is a non-refundable interview fee paid on the day of the interview at the college, plus tuition and boarding fees after admission.
If in doubt, contact the colleges only through the official numbers and email addresses provided by each institution.
CHAM and all colleges in our network do not have “agents” or “middlemen” for the student recruitment exercise.
If anyone asks you to pay money for admission, do not proceed. Always verify with the college directly.
Admissions are competitive due to a limited number of places. Apply early, prepare for interviews, and ensure your application reflects your academic ability and personal motivation.
For questions about admissions at any CHAM training college, please contact the relevant college directly. Contact emails for each college can be found on their official pages or in the CHAM college directory.
We are committed to keeping the application process fair, transparent, and accessible to all applicants.
